NWA Integrative Behavioral Health offers behavior-focused coaching and herbal consultations for nervous system support. We help individuals—especially those navigating ADHD, autism, chronic stress, or burnout—build sustainable habits around food, movement, rest, and daily rhythms.

Our approach is non-diagnostic, trauma-aware, and grounded in evidence-based principles of behavior change and somatic regulation. Services are educational and wellness-based, designed to complement, not replace, licensed medical or mental health care.

Woman Holding Branches

A nervous-system–informed approach to sustainable behavior change

Wonderfully Wired

Wonderfully Wired is the core framework behind care at NWA Integrative Behavioral Health. Rooted in Scripture, informed by neuroscience, and guided by the Dual-Track Coaching Protocol (DTCP), this approach recognizes that behavior is shaped by nervous system capacity, lived experience, and long-term stress, not by lack of discipline or desire.

Rather than relying on willpower or rigid plans, Wonderfully Wired supports change by working with the way the brain and body are actually designed. This trauma-aware and neurodivergent-affirming method helps women build sustainable rhythms around food, movement, rest, and emotional regulation. Everything is shaped around the DTCP model, which helps identify patterns, reduce overwhelm, and create grounded next steps that feel realistic and humane.

This work is not about pushing harder. It’s about forming patterns of health and presence that last. Whether you’re facing burnout, sensory overload, spiritual exhaustion, or behavior loops you can’t explain, this approach helps you reconnect with the body God designed and begin again, with gentleness.

Your wiring is not the problem.

It’s the place we begin.

Meet Jane Hanna Stoudt

Since 2008, I’ve offered integrative, nervous-system–informed care rooted in clinical herbalism, behavioral support, and faith-centered formation. At NWA Integrative Behavioral Health, I work with women navigating chronic stress, neurodivergent wiring, and long-term overwhelm—helping them restore steadiness in body, behavior, and spirit.

My approach honors the connection between the nervous system, daily habits, and spiritual well-being. Herbal consultations form the foundation of care, offering personalized protocols to support regulation, digestion, sleep, and stress recovery. For those who desire it, faith-integrated sessions create space for prayer, Scripture, and reconnection with God.

Care is unhurried, observational, and grounded in whole-person stewardship—not symptom-chasing or performance. As the nervous system settles, many women find renewed rest, greater clarity, and the capacity to stay present with themselves and with God.

NWA Integrative Behavioral Health offers educational and wellness-based care. Services do not replace licensed medical or mental health treatment.

Client Stories

“I came in exhausted, anxious, and disconnected from both my body and my faith. Jane's herbal support helped calm my nervous system in a way I hadn’t experienced before, and the way Scripture was woven into the process felt gentle and safe. I never felt rushed or pressured to ‘do more spiritually.’ Over time, I found myself sleeping better, thinking more clearly, and reconnecting with God without fear or shame.”

Amber T.

“Jane helped me understand how much my stress was living in my body. The herbal plan was thoughtful and explained clearly, and the spiritual guidance felt grounded and steady, not overwhelming. For the first time in a long time, my faith didn’t feel like another demand. It became a place of rest. I felt cared for as a whole person, not just a list of symptoms.”

Janine S.

“I appreciated how practical and reverent Jane was. Her herbal support helped my nervous system settle, and that made space for prayer and Scripture to feel accessible again. I didn’t feel judged or analyzed. I felt listened to. Her approach helped me steward my body while also deepening my trust in God’s work in my life.”

FAQs

Common Questions

What can I expect in a session?

Sessions are intentionally unhurried and structured to support clarity, regulation, and practical forward movement. We begin by getting oriented to what is happening in your nervous system and daily life right now, not just what feels “wrong,” but what has been demanding your energy, attention, and capacity. This includes discussion of stress patterns, health history, current routines, and the behaviors that feel hardest to sustain.

Together, we identify where overwhelm or inconsistency is showing up and explore what may be interfering with follow-through. Rather than focusing on willpower or self-correction, we look at capacity, nervous system regulation, and the practical conditions needed for change. This often brings relief, as many people discover their struggles make sense when viewed through this lens.

When herbal support is part of care, recommendations are discussed clearly and collaboratively. You will understand why each herb is suggested, what it is intended to support, and how it fits into your daily rhythms. Education is emphasized so you feel informed and confident, not dependent or uncertain.

Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection may be integrated as desired, offering space for discernment, meaning-making, and grounding. These practices are never rushed or performative and are used to support presence and attentiveness rather than pressure or striving.

How is faith included in herbal care?

Faith is not added on to the work. It shapes the posture and pace of care itself. Herbal support focuses on the practical work of tending the body’s stress response, nervous system regulation, and physiological resilience. This care is grounded in the belief that the body God designed deserves thoughtful, attentive stewardship rather than force or neglect.

Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection may be integrated as supportive practices to help clients make sense of their lived experience, notice God’s presence, and discern next steps with clarity rather than pressure. These elements are offered gently and never used to explain away symptoms, rush healing, or bypass the realities of stress, trauma, or exhaustion.

The goal is whole-person care that honors both body and soul. As the nervous system becomes more supported, many clients find greater capacity to reflect, pray, and engage Scripture without feeling overwhelmed or performative. Faith is held as a source of meaning, grounding, and hope, allowing restoration to unfold at a steady and humane pace.

Care is always collaborative and respectful. Faith-informed practices are included in ways that support regulation, attentiveness, and formation, while honoring each person’s comfort level and season of life.

What is Applied Yoga Therapy?

Applied Yoga Therapy is a nervous system–informed, body-based approach that uses gentle movement, breathwork, and grounding practices to support regulation, resilience, and recovery from chronic stress. Sessions are individualized and adapted in real time to meet your body where it is.  This is not a fitness class and there is no group instruction.

Applied Yoga Therapy is one-on-one, therapeutic, and paced for safety rather than performance. No flexibility, strength, or prior yoga experience is required. This work is grounded in neuroscience, polyvagal theory, and somatic regulation research. Practices are chosen for their impact on the autonomic nervous system, stress response, and interoceptive awareness. Sessions are consent-centered, choice-based, and designed to avoid overwhelm. You are always in control of your body, your pace, and your participation.

Applied Yoga Therapy is offered in a non-spiritualized format. There are no mantras, chakra teachings, or Eastern spiritual practices. Care is provided in a way that aligns with Christian convictions. Prayer or Scripture can be included only if the client requests it.

Some sessions may be eligible for HSA reimbursement depending on your individual plan. Clients are responsible for confirming eligibility with their HSA provider. No guarantee of reimbursement is implied.

Is herbal care safe if I take medications or have complex health needs?

Safety is a priority. All herbal recommendations are made with careful attention to medications, health history, and individual tolerance. When additional oversight is needed, collaboration with or referral to licensed healthcare providers is encouraged.

Who is this care for?

This care is for women experiencing chronic stress, trauma-related overwhelm, or nervous system strain who want an approach that honors both their faith and their physiology. It is especially supportive for those who feel spiritually worn down and need a slower, steadier way to heal and reconnect with God.
